Description
Cowboy Favorites-Clint Eastwood (Cameo 1056) Released in 1963. Mono version. Cover: VG++ (very light overall wear, light rub wear on back, excellent front graphics). Vinyl: VG (numerous light scratches. Listening to the lp, the sound quality is better than one would expect from the Cameo label. At times there are pops but the vocal and instrumentation is clear with no distorted surface noise, spindle wear at hole on labels).
Includes the original Cameo/Parkway inner sleeve with ads to other lp's (Dee Dee Sharp, Chubby Checker, The Dovells, Bobby Rydell).
One of the rarest lp's from the label aside from the first 5 releases, Clint's lp i would have to give him much credit. While starring in the t.v. show 'Rawhide' at the time of the lp's release, it was customary for an artist to release an album for further promotion. In all honesty, I do like country music, but Clint's performance is much to be desired. He does sound ok, but he's the Richard Chamberlain-type singer, as i you can tell he sang one line at a time (ala Shelley Fabares). Not a bad effort, but for historic value, this lp is better than the 'player copy'.
