This is a rare vinyl 45 RADIO STATION PROMO copy of DONNA LEE'S 1967 recording of CLOWN TOWN.
Written by Gladys Shelley and published by her Spiral Records company, this is probably the closest version of this song to Gladys Shelley's original recording. It is also frequently mentioned as a prominent example of the Northern Soul genre which originated in the late 1960s.
This hard-to-find record is in EXCELLENT condition with some light surface scratches and minor visual scuffs, and it plays fine.
