Description
This is a rare vinyl 45 TEST PRESSING of SHIRLEY BASSEY'S 1968 recording of CLOWN TOWN.
Written by GLADYS SHELLEY and published on her SPIRAL RECORDS label, this is a one-sided DEMO 45 with a generic white label that says "TEST PRESSING" with the artist name, song title and other information stamped in. Apparently the demo was unsuccessful, as this recording was never released on an official 45.
Record is in excellent condition with no visual scratches or other major flaws, and it plays fine. This test pressing is very rare, and I have not seen any other copies offered for sale. If you are a fan of SHIRLEY BASSEY, GLADYS SHELLEY or the song CLOWN TOWN, this item is a must.
