ATTENTION SKA/REGGAE COLLECTORS!
CLUE J AND HIS BLUES BLASTERS"LITTLE WILLIE".
A FANTASTIC SLICE OF VINTAGE SKA FROM 1961 KEPT FOR YEARS IN THE COLLECTION OF A TV STATION SOUND ENGINEER WHO RECALLS ONLY PLAYING IT A COUPLE OF TIMES HAVING FOUND IT IN THE VAULTS OF THE TV STATION HE WORKED AT IN A BOX OF 45s THAT WERE NOT GOING TO BE KEPT AND FILED IN THE STATIONS LIBRARY!
THE"B"SIDE="PINE JUICE".BLUE BEAT 45/BB 60-THICK VINYL PRESSED BY MELODISC.
BOTH SIDES ARE LIVELY INSTRUMENTALS AND THE BIG NEWS IS IT HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED,ALMOST UNHEARD OF AND MAY WELL BE A DEMO AS IT HAS A RUBBER STAMPED "A"ON THE A SIDE LABEL.
A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO BID FOR A TOP COPY OF A RARE SINGLE IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION!.
HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL PLAIN WHITE COVER.
THIS 45 HAS GLEAMING SURFACES-A COUPLE OF ULTRA FAINT SURFACE MARKS AND HARDLY ANY SURFACE NOISE! NO LOUD CLICKS. NO STICKS OR JUMPS! PUSH OUT CENTRE FULLY INTACT +CLEAN LABELS-NO WRITING,NO STAINS,RIPS ETC.
Now as most collectors know, there tends to be a problem that ebay cannot seem to deal with quickly enough during the bidding process for this kind of music with fake and false bidders who spoil it for GENUINE collectors.
I am taking my chance on this and will try to block any suspicious bidders-If the top bid is false I will offer lower bidders a second chance offer,so GENUINE bidders get your bids in EARLY and that will be a cut off point IF the highest bid is NOT GENUINE. Thanks!
In the meantime, although it is tiresome to do,I would advise every seller to report EVERY false bidder to ebay to hopefully eventually end this TIMEWASTING problem!
I CONSIDER £20 IS A BARGAIN START FOR THIS SINGLE + IT'S ORIGINAL COVER-YOU WILL STRUGGLE TO FIND ANOTHER COPY FOR LESS AS GOOD IN 2012 OR BEYOND!!!!
ONE OF SEVERAL 1960s 45s FOR AUCTION THIS WEEK FROM ROCKING ERIC-CHECK 'EM OUT!
Over the years I have helped to add to the collections of many 1960s 45s collectors and given my experience, I am aware of the titles that are GENUINE RARE ITEMS.
Now of course for those who are"chained"to the record collector price guide books, for whom I am one of the main consultants, the prices are still a SUGGESTION and as we all know ACTUAL prices SOLD can vary.
The sellers on ebay who continually put"listed"or "list price"on everything should be aware of this!!!!
However based on how infrequently these singles are turning up it is quite possible there MIGHT be keen bidding on this title so be prepared at the last minute to increase your bid!!!
SHARP,CLEAN LABELS!
Housed in an original cover-I NEVER , EVER USE REPRO VERSIONS ON MY ITEMS.
This is my honest grading!!!
Please see my listening policy below.
I test on a lightweight pickup of approx 2 grammes and listen with the treble full on and no filtering or mono switch used.As both a collector and dealer,I AM VERY STRICT ON GRADING but DO CHECKOUT MY FEEDBACK FOR GRADING PROOF!!!!
