ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING? Yes!...
Colin takes up the whole of Side One, backed by the Strangers (who were Roy Orbison's touring band here), and it's brilliant 1956/57 Elvis Presley sound - great hiccupping rockabilly mixed with some fine Presley-ish ballads...Side Two is devoted to the Strangers themselves, and features them moving away from that 50's sound (in that they cover a Beach Boys, and a Beatles song), and is mostly tough beat/garage stuff, with a few raunchy Fendermen/Link Wray style guitar instrumentals...not a bad note on the whole thing...it's a truly superb album...AND...you probably won't find a better copy than this...
CONDITION:
COVER: (EX-) ...small seam split at bottom...price written in top left corner of back cover (small and neat - on the flap)...PLEASE NOTE: that's just the sun reflecting on the top of the front cover - all lettering there is perfectly clear and complete!!
VINYL: (EX-)...has a few light scuffs only...it's in stunning condition...plays so well ! ...labels are clean!!
