Description
COLIN COOK AND THE STRANGERS – SELF TITLED LP – W&G WG-25/1850.
A nice yellow label 1960’s pressing of this 1964 LP. Cook and The Strangers alternate tracks.
Stranger’s guitarist, John Farrar later played in Marvin Welch & Farrar as well as appearing on some Shadows LP’s. He also worked with Olivia Newton John and found fame through his work on the Grease soundtrack. The second guitarist, Fred Weiland later joined The Mixtures. He played on their Pushbike Song 45.

The record is in EX Minus condition. Nice clean vinyl. Plays very well. The cover is VG+. A couple of scuffs on the bottom seam and one on the spine. The front still has much of its original shine. There is some light storage wear. On the back it is a little more pronounced. There is a crease in the front top corner. It comes from the spine but doesn’t go all the way to the top seam. It looks pretty good.
This is a great copy of a scarce LP.
