Description

  COLLEEN LOVETT Birds With Broken Wings essential psych This is one of my favorite albums of all time. Unique 1974 female concept album of a love affair & its devastated aftermath just tears your heart out. Funky, disco touches add to a cheesy yet heartfelt personal statement that is almost so real & intimate as to be too much. Lovett commissioned the all star studio group full of dudes like Earl Palmer, and the album runs 52 minutes long. The Hippie Goddesses CD comp from the late 90s featured one song from Linda Perhacs and five from this album. The CD of this from Fallout is a needledrop bootleg.
