COLOSSEUM, “DAUGHTER OF TIME” – AN ORIGINAL 1970 UK SMALL VERTIGO LOGO VINYL LP –Cat No, 6360 017
Daughter of Time is the fourth album by Colosseum, released in 1970. The album remained for five weeks in the UK Albums Chart peaking number 2. Recorded in the midst of an upheaval in the band's lineup, only one of its eight tracks, "Three Score and Ten, Amen", features all six of the official band members.
The LP is on the White Printed Vertigo Record Labels, with circled P date 1970 and small Vertigo Logo.
The LP comes in its original Vertigo Swirl Poly Lined Printed Bag and is housed in its original Antique Style, Gold coloured Vertigo Gatefold sleeve.
The album plays without faults through all the Tracks, and features an outstanding vocal performance by Chris Farlowe on tracks 1,2,4,5.& 7.
Both record labels are in pristine Near Mint condition, super clean record labels, showing only a few light signs of play to each centre.
The machine stamper information is as follows, side A, 6360017 1Y1 420 1 1., side2, 6360017 2Y1 420 1 1 3.
Both sides of the vinyl LP are in immaculate Near Mint condition, beautiful, clean glossy heavy LP with beautiful vinyl surfaces to both sides, with nothing more than a couple of light superficial surface hairlines.
The Vertigo Swirl inner bag is a respectable example, NO writing, tearing, or seam splits, just light creasing and age toning.
The Unique Gatefold Picture Sleeve is in superb Excellent condition. The sleeve is free from handwriting, tearing and seam splits, the Gatefold part of the sleeve has just a few light rub marks, the reverse panel is undamaged.
A superb example of this 1970 Vertigo Records album release from, Colosseum.
