Description
COLOSSEUM - " DAUGHTER OF TIME ", Vertigo/Philips Records Product (6360 017) Stereo, 1970.
Very rare, 1970 UK early pressing of the classic album by Colosseum.
This early press has the metallic finish gatefold label, the first matrix numbers and the 'small swirl' label design - see photos.

Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and put in a new poly-lined inner sleeve, with the original inner reatined for the auction
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT (No proper/deep scratches, groove damage, excessive surface noise, distortion, etc. Pretty clean labels with only lightish spindle trails. Under a strong direct light, this LP has a few faint paper scuffs - as is usually the case with these well pressed 60s LPs though, these slight superficial surface imperfections have any affect on playback. Plays very well indeed - strong, clear and without interruption from excessive clicks, crackles, etc... There's a minute amount of surface noise in the pressing during the silent run-in and in a couple of silences/quiet sections, but once the music starts, it disappears and it generally plays strong and clear without interuptions. Only had pretty light use in it's lifetime and has been well cared for. Not in museum piece territory sure, but as long as you're expecting a 1970 vinyl record not some sterile CD reissue, it's still a great example or a very rare original LP, ready to be enjoyed as originally intended.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)

SLEEVE = EXCELLENT (No big creases, rips, tears, defacing, etc. Carries some normal light wear to the edges and corners - see photos for further clarification)
