COLOSSEUM - DAUGHTER OF TIME
A truly excellent plus copy of this UK 2nd press prog gem, with superb stereo audio quality throughout
Year/Label : 1971 UK VERTIGO Swirl (originally released in 1970) Label number : 6360 017 Matrix numbers : 6360017 1Y//3 420, 6360017 2Y//1 420 Stampers : 1 1 1 / 1 1 3Excellent plus (EX+) condition jet black sheen vinyl virtually unmarked with just a few small and extremely faint paper scuffs on each side only detectable with close inspection under a bright light, purely superficial and not impinging upon the crystal clear stereo playback at all. Near perfect and iconic Vertigo small swirl labels with just a few and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each. Clearly, this is a record that has been sparingly played. Non-laminated excellent plus (EX+) condition outer gatefold sleeve. All colours, photos, text and art work remain beautifully intact with firm unscuffed edges (just a couple of tiny scuff "nicks" on each of the top and bottom edges) and a rigid spine with unblemished spine text. Each corner remains a near perfectly defined right angle with barely any rubbing at all. No cardboard creasing, no abrasions or ring wear, and no unwanted writing - hard to believe that this gatefold is 53 years of age (and the same can be said of the vinyl too!). Excellent plus (EX+) stereo audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, interference, distortion, clicks or background crackle. Simply put, great tone with crystal clear stereo audio quality throughout and every track a great listen - mainstream rock, prog, and jazz - a brilliant fusion of music genres played out by musicians at the top of their game. Comes with original and correctly dated Vertigo swirl poly-lined inner sleeve with no seam splits, tears or edge fraying - just a little mild creasing towards one corner and the hint of some minor age discolouration towards the edges. I will ship the record in a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A brilliant condition UK 2nd press copy of this 1970 prog gem - hard to find and increasingly sought after.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
