UK FIRST PRESSING DOUBLE VINYL LP IN GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH SEE-THRU MAROON INSIDE LP HOLDING SECTION AND ORIGINAL SIDE SPONGEY THINGS.
STAMPERS: 1CD1 - 1 A-1U / B-1U and 1CD2 - 1 - A-1U / B-1U. All mothers are 1CD denoting a true first pressing.
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT MINUS. EVERY SINGLE SLEEVE WE HAVE SEEN FOR THIS ALBUM IS USUALLY KNACKERED, DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE IN SOME WAY - FOR REASONS BEST KNOWN ONLY THE PREVIOUS OWNER, HE BARELY PLAYED THIS ALBUM AND STORED IT IN NEAR IMMACULATE CONDITION CONSIDERING IT'S AGE AND THE FRAGILITY OF THE SLEEVE DESIGN. THE ORIGINAL PRICE STICKER IS STILL ON THE FRONT, WHICH ADDS A UNIQUE CHARACTER TO THIS ALBUM. THERE IS JUST MINOR EDGE WEAR, THE SPINE IS CLEAN AND STRONG WITH JUST A FEW MINOR CREASES, IT REALLY IS A CLEAN COPY. THE INNER PLASTIC DISC HOLDERS ARE IN FINE SHAPE, THEY EVEN HAVE THE ORIGINAL WHITE SPONGE PARTS TO HOLD THE DISCS IN - USUALLY THIS IS CRACKED AND WORN, THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT IS LIKELY TO GET FOR ITS AGE. THE GLUE HAS DRIED OUT A BIT EACH SIDE BUT THEY ARE STILL FIRMLY HELD IN PLACE. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THERE IS A BETTER CONDITION SLEEVE OF THIS ALBUM IN EXISTANCE, I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW GOOD IT IS WHEN I FORST SAW IT.
DISCS: BOTH DISCS HAVE CLEARLY BARELY BEEN PLAYED, IF AT ALL, AND ARE NEAR MINT - THERE ARE SOME VERY LIGHT HAIRLINES IF YOU LOOK CLOSE ENOUG, LONG ENOUGH AND HOLD IT TO THE LIGHT. THIS IS LOVELY THICK UK VINYL WITH ULTRA-CLEAN LABELS, NO MARKS OR SPINDLE WEAR. MY GUESS IS THIS DISC HAS BEEN PLAYED ALL OF ONCE PERHAPS - IT SOUNDS AMAZING, AS CLEAN A COPY OF THIS JAZZ-ROCK-FUSION-PROG CLASSIC AS I HAVE EVER HEARD. AMAZINGLY, NEARLY EVERY COPY OF THIS LP I HVAE SEEN HAS SOME FORM OF PLASTIC/VINYL DAMAGE WHERE THE DISCS SIT IN THE DAFT PLASTIC/SPONGE INNER SLEEVES - FORTUNATELY THE PREVIOUS OWNER PUT THE DISCS IN POLY-LINED REGULAR SLEEVES SO THEY HAVE NEVER SUFFERED THIS FATE. IF YOU SEEK A NEAR MINT FIRST PRESSING OF THIS ALBUM, I DOUBT WE WILL EVER SEE ONE AS GOOD AS THIS AGAIN.
