Description

Hi and thanks for looking.

For auction is the 1969 LP "Those who are about to die salute you", the first album by Colosseum. Fontana STL 5510 stereo. UK first press, matrices are: Side 1 - 886765 1Y//1 420 11 12. Side 2 – 886765 2Y//1 420 1 2 5

Condition: Vinyl = VG+. The vinyl still has a nice sheen but there are faint surface marks visible under a strong light. The record plays fine and sounds great with very occasional very light surface noise in quiet passages. Sleeve = VG-. There are no splits or tears but there is a little shelf wear, a little rubbing to the spine, and some wrinkling to the right hand side of the left inner gatefold. Plain paper inner = VG-, tape to edges and a couple of tears around the “window” on one side. Please study the pictures as they are an integral part of the description. I'm happy to answer any questions.

Please note: my description/grading is based on the Rare Record Price Guide grading system (find it here: http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/My-Record-Grading-System?ugid=10000000000856674). Please contact me for any further info/pictures.

Postage to UK = £3 by 2nd class post (Highlands & Islands may be more so please check if affected). If you are bidding from outside the UK I will only accept paypal and will only send by International Signed For. Europe = £13 (please wait for or request an invoice). Rest of world = £17. Please do not ask me to send to a non Paypal verified address.

I will accept returns but buyer is responsible for postage. See my feedback and bid with confidence. Viewing and cash on collection welcome. Please see my other items for more interesting old records including Cressida, Uriah Heep, Juicy Lucy, Colosseum and Atomic Rooster. Thanks again and good luck.
