On offer is The Lp - Valentyne Suite by Colosseum.

1969 Pressing on the Vertigo Records Label - VO 1 847 900 VTY - Matrix - 1Y/2Y, Vertigo swirl label, A Philips record product printed inside gate fold sleeve.

Side 1: The kettle, Elegy, Butty's blues, The machine demands a sacrifice.

Side 2: The valentyne suite.

Vinyl -  Vg+ - Visual - Side 1 has a few light hairlines and a couple of small scratches, Side 2 has a long fine hairline across the side. Playback - Side 1 - a tiny little bit of static crackle heard on track 3 and a couple of small tics heard on track 4, Side 2 some small tics heard on a few occasions but barely noticeable , the record plays vg+ throughout - no skips or Jumps etc.

Please Note - Vinyl Grading is given as an overall grading after considering both visual and playback results, Some small static tics and/or small static crackle is a normal feature of most Vinyl Pressings.  

Sleeve - Vg - Provided in the original gate-fold sleeve as pictured, it has some age related wear, light edge wear, on the front cover a sticker in the top corner at the opening edge covers a tear where a previous sticker was torn off, inside the gate fold track timings have been written besides the track listing, nothing too major though - see pics.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Please note: A mid range Technics turntable was used to play test the Record - Playback Results may vary on Inferior or Superior quality playback equipment.

Record Collector's Grading System.

1. Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

2. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

3. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

4. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc...

5. Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

6. Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

7. Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
