THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR THE DEBUT LP BY COLOSSEUM ENTITLED VALENTYNE SUITE RELEASED IN THE UK IN 1969 ON VERTIGO RECORDS CATALOGUE NUMBER VO1-THE FIRST LP EVER RELEASED ON THIS CLASSIC LABEL. THIS COPY IS IN REALLY GREAT CONDITION AND HAS THE MATRIX NUMBERS OF 886 775 1 Y 1 420 ON SIDE 1 AND 886 775 2 Y 1 420 ON SIDE 2.

THE VINYL IS VISUALLY IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND LOOKS REALLY REALLY GOOD. THERE IS ONE VERY VERY LIGHT SUPERFICIAL MARK ON AT THE START OF THE TITLE TRACK WHICH HAS NO AFFECT ON PLAYBACK BUT OTHERWISE I CANNOT SEE A MARK ON IT. THIS IS REFLECTED IN THE AUDIO WHICH IS ALSO REALLY GOOD. THE LP SITS NICE AND FLAT ON THE TURNTABLE AND PLAYS THROUGH WITH OUT AND SKIPS OR JUMPS. THERE IS SOME VERY VERY LIGHT BACKGROUND NOISE AND ONE OR TWO STATIC POPS BUT I AM HAPPY TO GRADE THE AUDIO AS EXCELLENT.

BOTH LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND FREE FROM WRITING.

THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THERE IS SOME STORAGE WEAR TO THE CORNERS AND EDGES BUT THERE IS NO WRITING OR TEARS AND IT STILL LOOKS GOOD WHEN IT IS OPENED. THE WRITING IS STILL CLEARLY VISIBLE ON THE SPINE.

THE LP COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE WHICH IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.

OVERALL A VERY NICE COPY OF THIS RARE LP.

The Lp will be sent in professional mailers and will be sent in the Uk at a cost of £3.00. The cost of postage in Europe is £8.00 which includes international signed for delivery as mandatory . Anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. I am very sorry about this but again this is due to problems experienced in the past. Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced
