Description
Very nice copy of VO1, the UK Vertigo spiral/swirl label 1969 album by Colosseum 'Valentyne Suite', 1Y*1/2Y*1 FIRST PRESSING COMPLETE WITH PHILIPS CREDIT ON LABEL!
Matt gatefold sleeve has a few light edge creases, some light but obvious edge and corner wear, including evidence of some tape previously applied to the front gatefold edge which also goes over to the inside gatefold. A very light score line (fingernail?) across the front, not easily noticeable, and a previous owner's name in small ink letters on the back, top left. Only a hint of ringwear on the back, but, these are all relatively minor issues, and the sleeve exhibits superb colour and structure, and the sleeve overall certainly grades EX minus.
Original swirl inner included in VG condition, name written on both sides at the top edge.
The vinyl is in lovely condition; there are some light but obvious hairlines but mostly not affecting audio; plays very strongly, great audio, a few light clicks here and there, but although visually the LP is EX minus, the playgrade is certainly EX! Great playing copy.
