Description
Original UK stereo gatefold LP with spiral inner sleeve and label, release date 1969 on the Vertigo label, catalogue number: VO1 Matrix nos: side1) 8867751Y*1420 side 2) 8867752*Y*1420 Condition of cover/record: MINT / MINT (Grading as used by Record Collector) The cover is a gatefold, and is in MINT condition. There is a very small indentation on the gatefold edge approx 1/8th inch by ½ inch – it is approx 3 inches from the bottom edge. There is just superficial wear to the bottom edge – no more than 4 or 5 inches of a thin wear line in dots and dashes, but it is extremely light wear. There are no other wear marks, creases, rings, no splaying of the open edge, no tears, writing or stickers. The spine is in perfect condition, as is the print on it. The inner sleeve is the black and white ‘spiral’ polythene-lined original. The two ‘spiral’ labels each have approx 5 or 6 light spindle marks. The record plays VIRTUALLY FAULTLESSLY – I only detected 2 or 3 faint crackles on the entire album, and no noisy clicks or pops at all. This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection. Track list: the kettle, elegy, buttys blues, the machine demands a sacrifice/ the valentine suite: Januarys search, Februarys valentine, the grass is always greener.
