UK FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP IN GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL VERTIGO POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVE.

This is the rarer of the two label variants for the absolute first pressing. This copy has the Philips credit on the label and the sleeve, and has the slightly to-the-left typography for 33 1/3 underneath the 1969 date on the right of the Side B label at approximately 2 o'clock. Most of the first pressing labels have the 33 1/3 more centred under the 1969. One of the more miniscule of label variants in the entire Vertigo swirl catalogue, but a variant nonetheless.

SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+, SOME CORNER, RING, SHELF AND EDGE WEAR. ONE SMALL FRONT SCUFF AND PRICE STICKER MARK, REAR HAS NAME ON IN PEN. INNER SLEEVE IS VERY GOOD WITH SOME WEAR AND TEAR ON ONE SIDE.

DISC: VERY GOOD+ WITH A SCRATCH ON FIRST TRACK SIDE A WHICH CLICKED, SOME LIGHT SCUFFS AND HAIRLINES, A FEW FINGERPRINTS AND SOME SPINDLE WEAR. SIDE B LABEL HAS PEN NAME AND SMALL SPOT. DISC PLAYS VASTLY SUPERIOR TO WHAT IT LOOKS, AS IS COMMON FOR THESE THICK VINLY PHILIPS PRESSINGS, AND WILL SOUND EVEN BETETR AFTER A VPI TYPE CLEAN. A VEY DECENT FIRST PRESSING WITH THE RARE LABEL VARIANT.
