I have listened to all tracks and not just sampled a few!!!
Very first press of this classic album by this great prog band and one of the very first on the beloved SWIRL label!!! This has the all-important "A Philips Record Product" on the label, identifying it as a proper first press.
Beautiful heavy vinyl with a deep glossy sheen.
EX+ vinyl. Some hairlines are visible under a strong light. Very strong SENSATIONAL audio, very powerful and hardly ever any crackle , only between tracks. Of course NO jumps or clicks!!! Sensational depth of sound, I listened through the WHOLE album and actually did quite enjoy it. Played on a Linn Sondek/Rotel/B&W floorstanders set-up.
The gatefold sleeve is very nice without any creases. This sleeve is not laminated and most of these that I have come across are in some state. Not this one, it has clearly been looked after. A few corner scuffs. Very minor scuffing to the edges. The spine is fully legible. a small neat credit in fountain pen to the back, not at all intrusive.
Not mint but a very decent collector's grade copy.
