Description

COLOSSEUM those who are about to die FONTANA LP gatefold STL 5510!

 

Original UK LP with front/back laminated gatefold sleeve, includes the original Paper/poly lined inner sleeve. Released in 1969, on the FONTANA Label. Catalogue number: STL 5510.

 

Sleeve: VERY GOOD+ CONDITION

Overall a clean sleeve in VERY GOOD+ condition displays some light sleeve wear. Small light sleeve laminate lifts on the front sleeve's bottom right hand corner, with small lift on the corresponding back sleeve, small spine edge print/laminate wear (worn laminate and sleeve print rubbed away ~ 5cms approx.), spine print title/artist/Catalogue number are unaffected, back sleeve right left hand corner has come partially unglued (3cms approx. will repair easily), middle gatefold sleeve is EXCELLENT in appearance. There are no rips/tears, no seem splits and no deep sleeve creases. Original inner sleeve is paper/poly lined and in VERY GOOD condition, lightly browned with age, artist/title name written on one corner, and some light handling wear evident, no tears or splits.

 

Record: NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD+ CONDITION

Record labels are in NEAR MINT condition, clean, with no damage and some small light spindle hole marks on both sides. Playing surfaces and matrix areas retains the full original glossy sheen, and are in NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD+ condition, there are no immediate visible surface scuffs/marks on the A-side and two small ultra-light (smooth to the touch and both non-sounding) surface scuffs on the B-side one at 9 o'clock from the middle of track 3 to just after the start of track 4 and the other is at 6 o'clock which boarders on the start of the first track to about a third of the way in. Close inspection when angled and viewed under a strong bright light will show a few minimal tiny ultra-light fine line surface scuffs.
