Description
William Booth (10 April 1829 – 20 August 1912) was an English Methodist preacher who founded The Salvation Army and became its first General (1878–1912).
The speeches are : Rope Wanted and Don't Forget
I came to own this, and other 78s, by accident. I have decided to sell it on as it is. I have decided not cleaned it; I do not have the expert knowledge to clean it. Nor unfortunately can I play it to ensure it plays; I do not have a turntable (anymore). To give you an idea of its condition I have taken I hope sufficient photos for you to decide. I think it will clean up and there are scratches (the photos highlight these and there are photos of both sides. I note other auction pages do not show pictures of the grooves as I have done.
The sleeve is looking ok, the back is blank, the tape on the sides is dried and no longer holds the sides together. but the cover itself is relatively clean and undamaged. Any comments from experts appreciated. If I see a turntable at a good price I will get it!
