COLUMBIA CS 8058 MILES DAVIS Porgy and Bess 6 EYE STEREO DEMONSTRATION WHITE LABEL.

This is an early STEREO DEMONSTRATION WHITE LABEL pressing of Miles Davis' Porgy and Bess, recorded in 1958. There where much less copies made in stereo than in mono. Has the 6-eye deep groove label with no "cbs" in the top arrows. The letters "cbs" were added in 1962, four years later! This is the much earlier deep groove pressing and of those pressings, being a WHITE LABEL, this is the first, producing a monumental deep dark sound. Rare.
