Description
Here's a massive lot of 13 7" EPs that were part of the mail-order only promotional series "Playback" from Columbia Records. These EPs featured new tunes from emerging artists and in some cases unreleased tracks from the established artists on the Columbia roster.
Artists include Bob Dylan (covering Woody Guthrie!), Bruce Springsteen, Iggy & The Stooges, Blue Oyster Cult and many, many more--please check the photos for specific artists/tracks.
Eight of the 13 EPs have the accompanying information booklet and 12 of 13 have original sleeves.
The vinyl EPs are in fantastic VG++ condition overall--shiny vinyl with a light mark here and there. *Exceptions* include a couple of marks on the first two discs (VG+) and a manufacturing mark on the Bob Dylan track (causes a tick for a few seconds--no skips/sticks)
The information sheets/booklets and sleeves are in nice VG+>+ condition overall--some age discoloration, minor wrinkles, etc.
Overall, this lot is a fantastic and rare collection of these promotional EPs!
I'm happy to answer questions, provide more information or additional photos, just let me know. There are more excellent LPs listed this week (including many pristine early rock LPs & 45s), so please check my other auctions (a sort by "Time: ending soonest" will provide a more organized list).
45s shipped the day after payment is received. I combine shipping on multiple wins (*roughly* 50 cents per additional LP or 45). International rates vary, but are close those stated in the auction details.
