COLUMBIA SAX 2252 "B/S" BEETHOVEN "EMPEROR", EMIL GILELS,  PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA, LEOPOLD LUDWIG
A very collectable and rare record.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL and VERY EARLY pressing with the "Blue and Silver" label
NOT a later pressing with the same labels:
1.Tax Code X T on Side Two around the spindle hole that means it was pressed in October 1958 when this code was in use.  [BTW "Blue and Silver" labels were used up to July 1964!!!]
2. ALSO it has GROOVED labels that all EMI records had up to the end of 1950s.
3.The jacket is fully laminated with the 1950s distinctive HALF MOON cut on top and bottom flips.
4.The printing on the back of the jacket is in COLOUR and NOT in the usual black and white.
You can't get closer to an original pressing than this one!!

CONDITION
Jacket Ex ++ (Please see photos)
Vinyl: Side One: N/Mint.
Under a strong light it has one hairline that is inaudible and doesn't affect the sound.  Track 2 has some very soft ticks that do not disturb listening.
Side Two: N/Mint. It has four hairlines that do not affect the sound.

All my records are professionally cleaned with the VPI 17F washing/drying machine.
All records are graded after being played from beginning to end.
My sound reproduction system is very revealing.
Please bid with confidence.
