Description
This Auction is for The Lp - The Beethoven Symphonies No's 1 & 8 - Otto Klemperer conducting The Philharmonia orchestra.
Blue / Silver Label Pressing on the Columbia Records Label - SAX 2318.
Side 1: Symphony No 1 in C Major, Op.21.
Side 2 : Symphony No 8 in F Major, Op.93. Vinyl - Ex - Looks little played and retains a nice glossy surface shine, some light marks visible under strong light, it plays excellent throughout but with some light crickle and crackle in places which is Likely due to the pressing quality but nothing major and a great listen - no jumps or skips.Sleeve - Gd- - Provided in original sleeve which shows age related wear and also Unfortunately the sleeve got damp and the front cover now has a rippled effect on it, the rear cover has staining - see pics.
Vinyl - Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.
Sleeve - Good: The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc...
