This Auction is for The Lp - Schubert Symphony in C Major - Otto Klemperer conducting The Philharmonia orchestra.
Blue / Silver Label Pressing on the Columbia Records Label - SAX 2397.
Side 1: First & Second Movements.
Side 2 : Third & Fourth Movements. Vinyl - Ex - Looks little played and retains a nice glossy surface shine, it plays excellent throughout with only a couple of light clicks and crackle heard in places which is Likely due to the pressing quality, nothing major and a great listen - no jumps or skips.Sleeve - Gd- - Provided in original sleeve which shows age related wear and also Unfortunately the sleeve got damp and the front cover now has a rippled effect on it, the rear cover has some staining and the inner sleeve also has a rippled effect - see pics.
Vinyl - Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.
Sleeve - Good: The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc...
