Description
A 1963 Columbia SAX 2524 UK 1st B/s pressing of Mendelssohn " Italian " Symphony, etc. Played by The Cleveland Orchestra and conducted by George Szell. The vinyl has a small thin scratch on side 2 in the first movement and a light surface scratch on side 1 covering the first and second movement. Luckily the scratch on side 2 is in line with the lines of the record and the only blemish caused by the scratch is four quite quiet rotational ticks that does not interrupt the audio. The light and barely visible scratch to side 1 has not gone into the grooves of the record and does not interfere with the audio or the continuity of the music. The four rotational quiet ticks to side 2 last for about 5 seconds and the rest of the audio to both sides plays beautifully. I would say this is in EXCELLENT PLUS condition. This is not a common record to acquire and a perfect example would be worth hundreds of pounds. I offer a 14 day return service if not satisfied. Buyer pays return postage.
