Description
The Common People: "Of The People/By The People/For The People From The Common People" 1969, USA/Capitol ST-266. Disc has some light hairlines and scuffs, plays M- or very close but it gets a strong VG+ visual grade. Cover has ringwear on the front/soiling on the back, no splits, this is Good. Rare druggy pop psych LP from the Los Angeles area got a solid production budget from Capitol, the label even sprang for a string section! Naturally, it didn't sell as it didn't sound enough like the Monkees. Recent sleuthing has revealed that these well-dressed punks kept up appearances at all times, even wearing their custom-made stage robes to the supermarket.

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
