THE COMMON PEOPLE - Of the people / by the people/ for the people from LP - Original copy of this psychedelic MASTERPIECE on Capitol green label, from 1969... copy in VG++/NM condition, has the typical Capitol cut out hole in the upper right corner, wax closed to perfect, just superficial paper marks, plays perfect... One of the 3 rare dreamy psychedelic LPs must have on Capitol, along with Gandalf and Food... Here's a short cc from the Acid Archived about this album: "An interesting piece with an unusual edge for a major label LP, uses a farout singer and some amazing string arrangements to create a pretty unique sound. Good album, particularly side one which is killer all the way. A Canadian original pressing also exists. This used to be a "mystery" band but their origins have finally been cleared up via two pre-LP 45s on the private CA Flodavieur label, and reportedly excellent 45s at that. [PL]".
