Company Caine – A Product of a Broken Reality

Thank you for looking at my item.

Here on offer is one of Australia’s most sought after 70s progressive albums. Company Caine’s 1971 album entitled A Product of a Broken Reality on the original Generation label GELP004 is without doubt one of Australia’s most unique and thoughtful progressive albums. This was Company Caine’s first of their two albums. Sadly, they were very under recorded.

Band members included:

· Legendary Gulliver Smith on vocals

· Jerry Noone – Sax, keyboard

· Russell Smith – guitars

· Ian Mawson – keyboards

· Arthur Eizenberg – bass

· John McInerney – percussion

CONDITION

Cover – Has some ring wear and general scuffing especially around the edges. The inner gatefold has some creases – VG minus.

Vinyl – Has numerous light to moderate marks resulting in passages of background noise and some clicks. It played without jumps on my turntable and had no repeats. Has some good moments but is definitely not mint. Good minus.

In conclusion a rare and highly sought after Australian progressive album. It was my own copy until I found a slightly better copy recently. In all acceptable condition until you can find a better one (which is almost impossible these days).
