This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

Vinyl: Excellent. There are a couple of light marks on side 1 and some very superficial scuffs on side 2.
Labels: Lovely and clean. There are some spindle marks, seen in bright light. "KT" tax code side 2.
Text: Outer rim "The Gramaphone CO.LTD..." "Sold in the UK" central statement.
Inner Sleeve: The original, first press sleeve with the psychedelic design. Overall NEAR MINT. No writing, creases, tears etc!!! Still as vibrant as the day it was printed.
Cut-Outs: NEAR MINT condition here too!! Also printed with the DARK GREEN backing, as opposed to the later lighter green.
Cover: SUPERB! Strong spine. NO SPLITS, WRITING etc!! Still very bright as if just out the shop last week. Very little feathering to the openings...the corners are still sharp. Garrod and Lofthouse with tiny spidering in a very few places in the laminated sleeve. Gorgeous inner cover picture. EX++
I GRADE THE RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RARE RECORD COLLECTORS GUIDE. 'Mint' means I have just stepped out of the record shop in the 60's, never opened the record and kept it in fantastic dry and warm condtitons...unlikely isn't it!!
Add this superb condition rare early record to your Beatles collection, you won't find much better condition anywhere else!
