This is a very rare promo-only boxed set of 8 LPS featuring The Alan Parsons Project, also including work that Parsons did with The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Hollies, Al Stewart, Wings, etc. (Arista serial number SP 140) It contains five complete unplayed albums with covers: --"Pyramid" --"I, Robot" --"Eye in the Sky," --"Eve," and --"The Turn of a Friendly Card."
But the cool part is that it also comes with three LPS that constitute a six-part documentary with Parsons telling the story of his life and career, featuring the above-mentioned work that he did with others, including The Beatles, Pink Floyd, etc., as well as his groundbreaking work with the Alan Parsons Project. This set was never sold to the public, and is only available in promo form. The five LPs all have cut corners, as you'd expect. But all of these records are pristine and unplayed. (Caveat: I tried to remove the promo sticker from the front, and didn't do a great job! Sorry!) Two of the corners of the bottom box half are split, but if you like, I'll be happy to repair them with hot glue for you.
