This is one of the hardest to find Lps from Chile, in the same level of Blops first, Embrujo and Kissing Spell LPs
""Congregación and his only LP, was released by IRT label in 1972. It was, arguably, the best album produced in Chile along our rock history. Well, the guru and only brain behind Congregación is Antonio Smith, a very gifted musician, wrapped in a mystic and existentialism themes. He yet working in very different areas, like ecology, poetry, education, literature and, of course, producing very eclectic music. Congregacion was a very personal project of Antonio Smith and, believe or not, isn't influenced for LSD or other drugs form the psychedelic era. By the way, in the own words of Smith. Antonio was for very long time a mythic and mysterious figure inside Chilean popular music. Certainly, in the recent years, Chilean researchers and journalists meet him and began reconstructive the formidable legend of Congregacion. Smith departure from Chile and relocate in Argentina, after de Chilean military coup d'etat.; the master tapes disappeared and Congregación Viene... only was available in lp's. Inclusive, the LP never has released in official CD or other format. Strange but true."" Rodrigo Burgos, journalist from Chile.

'Congregacion was one of the legendary bands from the Chilean musical scene of the early 70s. In spite of not having been a popular band like Los Jaivas, Los Blops and Congreso, they deserve a position of privilege in the history of Chilean rock. The group was from Valparaiso and led by musician and poet Antonio Smith. They wrote lyrics with a significant political, philosophical and religious content, they were a real "celebration of life". Musically, they crafted ballads in an Andean style with ethnic atmospheres, we could say they made a kind of psychedelic folk with progressive leanings. They recorded just one LP - "Congregacion Viene..." and a single in 1972'.
This is a real nice gem, really, in psych/prog folk style.
RECORD: plays a strong VG++/EX-, with a very soft normal surface noise sometimes. Looks VG++ with glossy shine.

EXCELLENT... as a used vinyl. they are normal condition and almost clean. The record show some signs of having been played, but there is very lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear but ecellent aspect overall. Possible DJ or promo copy stamp on cover.
VG+ VERY GOOD...near Excellent. The record has been played sometimes but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, no wear despite the occasional light marks or small scratches. Cover shows some hanling imperfection like a little normal wear and tear, price tag, creasing, woc (really small)... Now the signs of age and handling are starting to show. You can notice some clear wear on the surface, there is some noise (pops and crackles) but no skips or major warps.
