Originally released in 1961 as Songs To A Swinging Band, I personally believe this is Connie’s best English-language LP. I agree with the writers of the liner notes who state:
“I Got Lost In His Arms” and “Angel Eyes” can easily stand comparison with the recordings of all the other jazz stars of that time.”
