Description

TITLE/INFO: I'll be listing more old and rare 45's over these next few weeks/months, as well as more early '50's-'60's EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. This early '60's 45 with it's picture sleeve by the extremely popular female singer/actress of that day, Connie Francis. It is entitled "Where The Boys Are/No One" from the movie of the same title back in 1960 - a film that inspired many a college student to take off for Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a Spring Break getaway. The rest of this film's stars are nothing too shaggy either - including Dolores Hart, Yvette Mimieux, and Paula Prentiss who, along with Connie, are all pictured in their bathing suits on the sleeve's front and back sides. While Connie Francis is definitely better known for her singing career, she did do a little acting back in the '60's as well - like co-starring in this film.  In my opinion, this 45/pic sleeve combo is in excellent condition, but please read on and check out all the pictures above. LABEL INFO: This original, MGM Label (K12971) is flawless with no issues at all. I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates very light play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also super clean and nice and nearly perfect. PICTURE SLEEVE: Finally, the attractive picture sleeve is also in excellent to near mint shape with no real flaws either. Maybe just a little bit of super light "wrinkling" along the open top edge - but, in my opinion, it's nothing serious at all (see pics above). INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this 45 with it's picture sleeve is in excellent shape and, as always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!  If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $18.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $2.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records  that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
