Shot Rod b/w Walkin' With Max 45 - CONNY AND THE BELLHOPS (Damon D-12315)
Original 1960 U.S. 7" 45. GREAT 2-sider; A-side = FRANTIC, verging on out-of-control, this (mostly) instro rock & roll craziness is AWESOME. B-side = FINE sax/piano/guitar instro rocker. One of the best private Kansas City-area early rock & roll singles, this area's equivalent to "Surfin' Bird." Disc looks terrible but sounds amazingly very fine.
Disc = G (tons of thin hairlines + much soft scuffing; NO scratches; NO skips; plays WAY, WAY BETTER than it grades, w/ NO distortion, virtually NO pops/clicks & virtually NO background noise to speak of; if I was to grade this based strictly on how it sounds, it would rate a VG+ - really!; an EXCELLENT listen)
Labels = see pix; some ring/general wear; x on both sides in grease pen; thin crack from outer edge to inner edge on B-side
Buyers, please wait on sending payment until you have received my invoice. Ebay-generated invoices are often inaccurate. Invoice will be forwarded within 24-48 hours after listing closes.
