"Constance" is a song by the Canadian metal band Spiritbox. It's a defining moment for the band and is notably slower in pace compared to the rest of the band's record "Eternal Blue." The song is designed to pluck at the heartstrings, giving listeners a closer look into the pain one can bear, and is a memorable and sobering way to end the album, featuring memorable hooks, vocal lines, and riffs. The trio is fearless in suddenly ploughing into gloriously noisy metalcore in this original version (they also released a great acoustic version too).
About the Artist: Spiritbox is a Canadian heavy metal band originally from Victoria, British Columbia. The band's known for incorporating electronic motifs into their sound, and they have been described as a "post-metalcore" trio. Their music has been praised for its exceptional songwriting and unique sonic experience. The band's versatility and ability to create a wide range of moods and sounds have been highlighted, making their music stand out from traditional metalcore. Spiritbox gained viral success with the song "Holy Roller," which achieved significant popularity on rock radio charts and YouTube. The band's debut album, "Eternal Blue," from which this track comes, has been well-received for its innovative approach to metalcore music, featuring electronic elements that set it apart from the rest.
Although pleasing to the eye, the overall sound quality of picture disc recordings are not always comparable to the better sounding black vinyl discs. This is due in part to the thin third layer of clear vinyl which supports the grooves. Collectors often collect picture discs as much for the "rock art" visual enjoyment and/or rarity as for the sound quality.
