Description

Offered is "Do You Love Me" by The Contours. This VG++ / Near Mint record is the oh so rare absolute first pressing on the Gordy label, 901!

This record has "Bell Sound" machine stamped in the dead wax. The stampers are 1-A.

This is the first ever LP issued on Berry Gordy's label and the one and only LP ever recorded by The Contours.

The vinyl is heavy and thick.

It's worth repeating, this is the authentic first pressing issued in 1962!

 

Fully Play Graded:  VG++ / Near Mint, with a few superficial scuffs that in no way affect the superb sound quality.

Labels: Mint, with yellow print against a grape colored background.
