COOKIN’ With The MILES DAVIS QUINTET – On Prestige, PRLP 7094. Nice and Minty! This is an original Mono issue from 1957 with the 50th Street N.Y Address on the labels and the back cover. This is a deep groove pressing on the flat edge vinyl, with the Rudy Van Gelder initials stamped in the dead wax.

Here is another extremely rare find in awesome condition. This is a monumental piece of Jazz history with Miles Davis on Trumpet and John Coltrane on Sax. Also featured are Red Garland on Piano, Paul Chambers on Bass and Philly Jones on Drums. The Tracks are:

CONDITION

The COVER is nice and glossy, with NO ring-wear, NO creases, No splits, or writing on it, front or back. It does show some age fading around the edges and couple of faint smudges on the back cover. Still, I have to grade the cover a VG+ to Near Mint

The VINYL is thick, heavy, shiny, and in immaculate condition with only a few very faint sleeve scuffs that you have to be looking for to find. It looks like it’s never been played. Just in case, I play tested it to check it out. Very nice, with no crackle, hiss, or other noise to distract you from one of the best jazz sessions of all time. Even the labels are perfect with no noticeable spindle marks. A Great Album and as Near Mint as they come. Check my feedback and bid with confidence.

International bidders are welcome but shipping will be quoted after the auction ends. Typical overseas shipping is $14 to Europe, and $15 to Asia for air-mail, and about half that for surface mail.

PAYMENT – I prefer Money Orders. Paypal is acceptable but I must add a 4% surcharge to the total to offset the Paypal fees. I apologize for this but between ebay’s fee increase and the paypal fees it is getting too expensive to continue absorbing this cost. Payment must be received within 7 days after the close of auction. If you’re unable to pay on time, “Don’t Bid”.
