Description
Cosmic Couriers, Germany, 1974. Quadrophonic/ stereo, as per system playback capability.
VG+/ VG+ Very nice cover with only some very light wear at edges, pin head size spot of wear top corner, and a tiny micro tear at top of spine. Lp has a few pops and clicks going into each side, and some mild surface wear in background at points throughout, again mainly just at beginning and mostly covered by the intensity of the music.
Super spacey cosmic rocker from the German gathering collectively known as COSMIC JOKERS, though not credited as such on this particular album, which is simply billed as "Galactic Supermarket" and features ASH RA TEMPEL members Manuel Gottsching and Rosi Muller, along with pioneering synthesist Klaus Schulze ( once a member of ASH RA as well), Harald Grosskopf, Dieter Dierks, Jurgen Dollase, and Gilles Zeitschiff. Two side long tracks that expand on the idea of "Kosmische music," cosmic rock which permeates the mind's eye with guitar space, space-whispered female vocals, experimental synth sounds and heady rhythms and drumming. Another early effort that set the tone for the German cosmic rock scene of the 70s.
