Ultra rare 1978 LIVE recording PROMO white label vinyl LP entitled " The Charlie Daniels Band LIVE " Epic (AS 407). This vinyl LP was recorded live on November 8, 1977 at Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia, PA. It was intended for "radio station play only. demonstration--not for sale" as stated on the jacket back cover. Th LP contains eight (8) tracks mostly of hits by the band including " Heaven Can Be Anywhere "(Twin Pines Theme) " Saddle Tramp ", " The South's Gonna Do It Again " and " Orange Blossom Special ". This rare PROMO LP will be a great add to one's collection of vintage country vinyl LPs. Especially if one is a die-hard fan of The Charlie Daniels Band !
CONDITION of VINYL: The shiny vinyl with a super clean white promo label shows few signs of past play and handling. We do note a few spindle markings around the center hole and a light paper scuff or two. We have fully test played this Stereo vinyl and found the playback to be very nice overall. We rate this vinyl's conidtion as a solid Excellent Plus (EX+). A new generic inner sleeve is included.
CONDITION of JACKET: The outer jacket (outer sleeve) has a great 5 x 6 1/4 Black & White photograph of the group on the album front cover. There is some fading from past storage ring wear at upper center of front cover where it reads: " Superstar Radio Network Presents ". The back cover has similar fading at the bottom center (see photos). The spine of the jacket has some wear and fading of printed detail. No seam splits to the jacket and corners have only very minimal softening. The jacket front cover would make a splendid one to frame if one is so inclined. We rate the overall condition of the jacket as Very Good Plus (VG+). Included is a new clear poly slip-on sleeve to help protect this 40 year-ol gem for generations to come !
The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated from outer jacket. A heavy duty LP record mailer will be used with inserts and ample bubble wrap. Never a packing charge.
