COYOTE LP (CAST OFF YOUR OLD TIRED ETHICS) (Old Dog Records DRP-8335)
Autographed on back cover by all five members. Original US stereo pressing. Surprising guest appearance by pianist Bobby Whitlock, who also played piano on the Rollong Stones' Exile on Main Street. Whitlock, a regular on Stax Records, was also in Delaney & Bonnie, plus Derek & the Dominoes with Duane Allman & Eric Clapton.
Autographs signed with ballpoint pen. Very hard-to-find locally-distributed album released on Old Dog Records, a private label. David Tenery wrote most of the songs & played electric & acoustic guitar, plus electric mandolin, harmonica & lead vocals. Nice three-member horn section, too. Opens with "Peter Gunn", written by "Henery" Mancini. Dig the frightful goblin-like cover illustration by Freida Florentine! (Matrix #: "DRP-8335-A JE NRP")
COVER - VERY GOOD PLUS
Sharp print & very nice color with a fairly small amount of ring wear, mild edge wear & frayed corner banging. Tiny quarter-inch discoloration mark on front- not a major blemish. Unusual silver grey Old Dog label looks very good. Sharp cut spindle hole with a few faint spindle brushings.
DISC - VERY GOOD
We give great importance to grading our items accurately. No warping, chips, cracks or residue on the disc or dead wax. There are some mild scuffs flecks & abrasions on the platter surface. No skips. Album has been stored upright in a safe way.
