A new venture away from stock blues and a landmark in early progressive and psychedelic rock, all three musicians here came out of a more stoic and rigid background, to absolutely fly in the burgeoning new swingin' scene!
Eric Clapton befriended George Harrison and admired the amazing leaps The Beatles were striding towards, and to cap it all there was a young American blues pioneer Jimi Hendrix blowing minds in London..... and cutting new paths in guitar rock.
This album was their second recording, there's some humour, progressive sounds and radical psych on here.
It's well documented in EC's career as a landmark record.
