A Truly Awesome LP In Pristine Condition.


What I Find Most Amazing About This Superb Copy Is Not Just It's Pristine Condition But, It Has A Very Rare Label Error Giving Different Dates To Each Label. A-Side is 1967, B-Side Is 1966. Personally, I'm Not Aware Of This Label Error And Nor Have I Seen It On Other Copies. 


The B-Side label shows the "Apple Pub" Credit.

Every now and then you come across a record so pristine you wonder how on earth it's been kept in that condition. Usually, 99.9% of the time, Cream's 'Disraeli Gears' is absolutely battered or well used at best. This LP was such a big thing back in the late 60's and was probably taken to every party by its owner but not this one. It's just stunning. A rich gloss both sides. Glistens in the light and sits perfectly flat on the turntable. The vinyl looks almost flawless with just a couple of minor wispy hairlines when inspected up close and under bright light. From start to finish the audio is near perfect, loud and punchy, crystal clear, well balanced and well pressed on thick vinyl. So very hard to find in this TOP condition.


Sleeve - NM

Finding this sleeve in this condition is a tall order but so, so satisfying when you do. Renowned for being quite thin and flimsy, usually this sleeve is torn to bits, split in half or both. Majority of the time I see this LP with a major spine or edge split, but not with this one. This sleeve is to die for, it's incredible. Super smooth and flat front/back surfaces. Straight edges and spine, pointy corners. Front laminated, just one or two little laminate creases when reflected in bright light. Feels solid, looks incredible. Super bright colours, no writing. Original sales sticker in top right corner on front (will easily peel off if you wish to remove it). A real hard one to let go of, wish I could keep it. 



Labels - EX

Lovely labels with some spindle lines each side when reflected in the light. Very strange and obscure label error also - A-side shows the date as: 1967 but the B-Side shows: 1966. Never seen this before and not sure of any previous sales mention this label error??
