An Absolutely Fabulous Album by the legendary CREAM that needs no introduction.Released in 1967 and has proven to be one of the greatest recordings of all time.
This record is in very good condition, the labels are exceptionaly clean and show only minimal amounts of spindle marking and there is no wear to the centre hole. The Record plays very well, with only the minimal amount of hiss/crackle, in particular to the lead ins on each side which is normal on older records. The surface of the record has a few light marks as you would expect, but although this record has been played it has certainly not suffered from abuse and it is relatively unmarked for its age. This record is a great example of the sturdy heavy duty vinyl of the sixties and it still retains its rich deep black vinyl sheen and classic Mono sound.
This is a superb example of Disraeli Gears and soon destined to become a collectors classic, not just for the fabulous sleeve design but also for being possibly the greatest Cream record of all time.
The Sleeve, like the record, is in very good / excellent condition. Both sides are Fully Laminated, it is the Ernest J Day & Co Ltd Patents Pending Sleeve with the White REACTION lettering to the bottom left corner. Top left hand corner of the rear sleeve has MONO 593 003 in bold black lettering.
The overall condition of the sleeve is excellent. The sleeve is totally intact. There is only minor wearing to the corners. This record has been kept in a plastic outer sleeve for most of its life although I must confess when I first bought it new all those years ago I did not go to the expense of buying plastic sleeves. There is a very very minor split 5 mm long approx two inches down on the front cover opening edge but this is not noticable as it falls within the pattern on the front cover, and there is very slight, I stress very slight wear on the opening edge of the sleeve caused by removing the record before I bought protective covers, please see photo. There is No creasing, writing, or rips. All the outer edges are sharp and intact and in excellent order with no signs of edge wear, the spine is absolutely rigid and the text on the spine is totally intact, please see photo .
The art work on the front sleeve is absolutely superb and depicts the era amazingly accurate as does the collage on the rear of the Album. The centre track listings are very clear.
Record comes complete with the original inner sleeve
Record will be posted in fully protective packaging
This is a very honest and true example of the Disraeli Gears Album.I have attempted to describe as accurately as possible and trust the photos will assist.I hope to be able to add some extra photos of the inner labels. The record is from my own personnel collection which I am slowly reducing, please e mail if you have any questions.
