Description
Cream's famous Disraeli Gears LP on Atco three-color label, I believe the very first pressing, with the runout etching on side one reading ST-C-671129A and AT/LW and W with three dots above and one below. The disc condition is VG, graded conservatively. Really it is VG+, I think. It plays really nicely, with only a touch of noise between songs, and a pop on the first several seconds of Dance the Night Away, which ends after a short while. That is the only spot where I think there is a real pop. The rest of the record has tiny bits of background noise but it is mostly only heard between songs. The music is much louder, and many times when things are quiet there is no noise at all. Really a nice listen, even E- most of the time. There are visible scuffs and marks but I think it plays really well. I really enjoyed my listen through it, with only that one popping spot as the only issue. Anyhow the cover has some general shelf wear, as you can see in the photos, but no seam splits or corner dings. It is actually quite well intact and still a strong VG+/E-. There is a Grammy Award sticker on the cover, but I am pretty sure this is a first pressing that they stuck that to later. Original inner, also, with some wear. Overall a great copy.
