Seriously hard now to find this as an original 1st mono press on the collectable Reaction label. The mono version is far harder to find than the stereo (in 1967 stereo was getting the norm). The opposite is true for the earlier Fresh Cream.

In the last few years I have only come across one other mono copy of this veritable masterpiece. It is getting harder to find any great albums from the Golden Age of music. Most of the greats are now in private collections all over the world. Even in England it is a tough task to still turn up the at one time easier to find early albums by Cream, Hendrix, Led Zep, Sabbath etc. etc.

I have played this in FULL> The replay is GREAT!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more in-depth observation. Of course there are NO skips, jumps, clicks or sticks. Just a tiny bit of static here and there. A beautiful recording and I enjoyed every second of it!! Only two wispy hairlines on this vinyl have no impact and the audio is  EX++ all the way!!!

Vinyl: EX+ . Two tiny  hairlines under an intense light,  that do not have any impact on the fabulous listening experience. A great solid vinyl with high groove walls. The audio is EX all the way. NO jumps, NO clicks, NO sticks. Sometimes a little static but this is easily masked by the powerful audio. The title track is something special indeed!! This vinyl has been enjoyed, looked after and preserved for 44 years.

 Sleeve: EX. Front laminated. Incredibly thin!! NO writing, lovely fresh like first issued colours!! Only two small underlaminate creases near the opening. Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd, London, W.1. All edges are straight.

Labels: EX. Some spindle marks. NO writing.

Inner: Original with blue printing, slightly yellowed with age.

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible, LEAVE ALONE IN THIS STUNNING EX CONDITION!!!
