This is the exceptionally rare complete 1967 UK 1st press of 'Disraeli Gears' by Cream. This Mono earliest press is complete with the earliest fully laminated, white 'Reaction' text, Ernest J Day 'Patents Pending' sleeve and the earliest A1//B1 matrix. The record is pressed on heavy flat edged vinyl, with the original matt blue Reaction label and the original polylined inner sleeve. In addition this press has the exceptionally rare miscredited 'Windfall Music' at the bottom of the Side 1 label and 'Apple Publishing' at the bottom of the Side 2 label.
The condition of the record is Very Good++. The vinyl has a superb high gloss, with a couple of very light marks and just a few very light hairline marks on both sides. When played the sound is very rich, bold and extremely clear. There are a couple of moments of background noise but these are pretty insignificant, it sounds Excellent. The blue textured Reaction labels are very bright and clean. The silver text is bold and there is only slight spindle wear. The record is complete with the original polylined inner sleeve.
The rare earliest fully laminated Ernest J Day sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. The laminate has a sensational polished gloss, the colours are vivid and the images are all exceptionally clear. There is a little wear corner and opening edge wear and a little laminate lift in the back corner. It clearly displays the earliest 'Patents Pending' text at the bottom edge and the whole cover still feels exceptionally solid.
