Cream: Eric Clapton (vocals, guitar); Jack Bruce (vocals, 6-string bass, harmonica); Ginger Baker (vocals, drums). Recorded at Chalk Farm Studios and Mayfair Studios, London, England. Cream's debut album was a pronouncement that drums and bass would no longer be limited to the role of background instruments, that rock guitarists would henceforth be judged by the standard of Eric Clapton's soaring, lyric signature, and that emotional/instrumental content is as important as the singer and song. To appreciate the energetic slant Cream put on traditional blues, check out their manic, up-tempo version of Muddy Waters' "Rollin' And Tumblin'." And where many bands routinely ripped off folk and blues artists, Cream made sure people like Robert Johnson ("Four Until Late"), Willie Dixon ("Spoonful"), and Skip James ("I'm So Glad") got both credit and royalties, while expanding the audience for pure blues music.

Condition of Vinyl:- Both sides of the disc have light use only ................ No 'marks' as such , justa couple of very small , faint surface traces evident beneath a light .......... Outstanding sound quality throughout : Graded in at least EXCELLENT condition.

Label Condition:- Beautifully bright , clean labels .......... No wear , only a trace of spindle use evident : EXCELLENT+ condition.

Condition of Sleeve:- The laminated front sleeve has very light use ................ Very bright , crisp and clean ............. just a couple of very light , minor crease wrinkles (very light) No edge or spine wear ............... The rear panel is very bright and clean : The Sleeve is Graded at EXCELLENT condition.

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as 'Stunning!! Rare!! Awsome!!, padded out with grossly long winded descriptions , many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and incorrect to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading........ I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records, with concise and accurate grading descriptions......................

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice........and Segovia!)
