VINYL is G+....it has a TON of hairlines...this one killed me when I saw the label and then saw the G+ condition of the vinyl....I cleaned it and played it and while it has a good amount of background noise, especially at the opening of the sides, once the hard driving music gets going, it is not too bad. And the mono sonics still get to shine by taking over a bit too.....I am not trying to upsell this record--it is in rough shape--but it doesn't play G+ for the most part (with the exception of TOAD the last track that has a long drum solo and the background noise clicks and pops are more noticeable). So, if you have always wanted the 1st early release of this historic lp but didn't want to shell out 200 to 300+ for a great copy, this one might be for you. You could always substitute a regular Mono cover for this one.
ULTRASONIC CLEANED -- I just cleaned it on my new Ultrasonic Record cleaner, and put it in a fresh sleeve. It really does make a difference in the sound quality....it gets rid of stuff other methods just can't tackle....I am hooked! Ready to enjoy for years to come.
