Matrix : 594001 A1 / B1 Issue : UK 1st Press
This is the rare UK 1st press of 'Fresh Cream' by Cream. This 1st press is complete with the earliest A1/B1 matrix, textured blue Reaction labels and very heavy flat edge vinyl. The labels have the essential 1st press only M.C.P.S. label miscredit and the record is complete with the earliest laminated UK 'Patents Pending' Ernest J Day sleeve.
The record is in Good condition. The vinyl has a high gloss, but there are a couple of small marks, a number of light marks and a small mark in the runout. The sound is rich and bright. There are a few clicks on the marks and some background noise but it is still vibrant. The blue matt Reaction labels are bright. There is some light spindle wear, a couple of spider marks and some small initials. The record is complete with the original inner sleeve.
The 1st press 'Patent Pending' laminated Ernest J Day sleeve is in Very Good condition. The laminate has a stunning mirrorlike shine and the black is very solid. There are a couple of light laminate creases and some light marks on the back unlaminated corner. The images are sharp and the text unworn. The spine has a little wear but the whole cover is still solid.
